Aamir Khan reveals date of his upcoming wedding: ‘We are hosting it at…’ ; who is his Bengaluru-based girlfriend Gauri Spratt?

Aamir Khan is all set to become a married man again! The superstar recently declared that he would be tying the knot with fiancee Gauri Spratt on July 5, which falls on Sunday. The 3 Idiots star addressed the media at the screening of Rajkumar Hirani’s series Pritam And Pedro. He revealed that the event will be a low-key one and held at his home.

“Shaadi hai 5 July ko. Ghar pe hi kar rahe hai. Bahut hi choti shaadi hai. Bahut hi khaas din hai 5 tarikh hamare liye. Dono families hai aur kuch khaas dost hai (The wedding is on July 5. We are hosting it at home; it’s a very small, intimate affair. It is a very special day for us. Both families and a few close friends will be there),” he told the media.

Earlier, the SCREEN magazine reported that the couple are gearing up to exchange vows in a private ceremony at the ‘PK’ star’s palatial Bandra home in Mumbai. The events would involve a simple registration marriage, followed by an intimate and small wedding ceremony attended by family and close friends. Unlike most Bollywood celebs, Aamir has no plans of holding a grand reception.


The upcoming wedding carries added emotional significance as both Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt's children from their previous relationships are expected to participate in the celebrations, reflecting the union of their blended family. Aamir's son, actor Junaid Khan, and daughter, entrepreneur Ira Khan, whom he shares with his first wife, Reena Dutta, will be part of the festivities. His youngest son, Azad, from his marriage to filmmaker Kiran Rao, is also set to join the celebrations. Gauri's son from her earlier marriage will likewise play a role in the special occasion, making it a family-centered event.

As per an India.com report, there will be 150 guests at the wedding and Aamir has personally delivered wedding invitations to the guests by hand.

Gauri Spratt, an entrepreneur originally from Bengaluru, gained widespread public attention after Bollywood star Aamir Khan introduced her as his partner. She has built her career in the business world and is believed to be involved in Mumbai's beauty and salon industry. Despite her association with one of India's biggest film personalities, Gauri is known for maintaining a private lifestyle and largely staying away from the public eye and media spotlight.

As per her LinkedIn profile, Gauri has a degree in styling and photography from University of the Arts London.
