Aamir, 61, and Gauri, 47, signed the marriage documents at around 12.45 pm, according to India Today. Family members described the moment as emotional as the couple officially began a new chapter in their lives.
The first photograph from the ceremony has also surfaced online. It shows Aamir signing the marriage register while Gauri sits beside him. Their children are seen close to them during the ceremony, making it a family-focused occasion.
First wedding photo captures a family moment
The newly released picture reflects the intimate nature of the wedding. Gauri's son Quinn is seen standing between the couple while Aamir's son Azad sits beside them. Both children are holding the ring boxes during the registration ceremony. Aamir's mother, Zeenat, is also visible in the background as she watches the couple complete the formalities.Aamir's children, Junaid and Ira Khan, were also part of the celebrations along with other close family members.
The guest list reportedly included around 150 people, including relatives who travelled from overseas. Among those who attended were filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker, comedian-actor Vir Das, businessman Mukesh Ambani, cricketer Irfan Pathan, politician Raj Thackeray and lyricist Prasoon Joshi.
The couple is not expected to host a lavish reception and will instead have a small celebration at their residence for close friends and relatives.
A relationship that grew over time
Aamir and Gauri made their relationship public earlier in 2025. While introducing her to the media around his 60th birthday celebrations, the actor revealed that they had known each other for nearly 25 years but had started dating a little over two years ago after reconnecting.Speaking earlier about their wedding plans, Aamir had told Deccan Chronicle, "It will be a very simple registered marriage at home, with just both the families and really close friends. We both want to keep it very basic."
On Raj Shamani's podcast, Aamir had shared how the relationship developed, saying, "Gauri and I met by mistake and we connected and we became friends, and love happened."
New beginning for the couple
This is Aamir Khan's third marriage. He was earlier married to producer Reena Dutta, with whom he has two children, Junaid and Ira. He later married filmmaker Kiran Rao in 2005. Although they separated in 2021, the two continue to co-parent their son, Azad.Gauri Spratt, who is from Bengaluru, works in the beauty and wellness industry and is currently associated with Aamir Khan Productions. She also has a son, Quinn, from her previous marriage.
