A year after Tesla showroom visit, Sajjan Jindal goes green with a Japanese electric car!
The steel tycoon drove the car for 10 days in Mumbai's maddening traffic and found it to be clean and noiseless.

Last year, the industrialist had visited the Tesla showroom in Zurich, even taking to Twitter later to share his experience. "The world of automobiles is going to change faster than we think." And now, he has acquired a Japanese-made electric vehicle, costing approximately Rs 50 lakh.

"It's clean. It's noiseless. It's the way to go. I drove it for around 10 days. But now the senior executives are using it turn by turn, experiencing it first hand," he told ETPanache, when asked about his experience of being at the wheel.
Of the group's senior management, JSW Energy's Prashant Jain and JSW Steel's Seshagiri Rao have already spent some time at the wheel. Jain apparently used it for his morning commute from his residence in midtown Mumbai t o t he g r oup headquarters in the suburbs.
