A sneak peek into Victoria’s Secret 2016 collection: 4,50,000 crystals and Brian Atwood boots

Victoria’s Secret is gearing up for their opulent fashion show later this year, but in the mean time, they’re giving fans a sneak peek into one of their show-stopping looks modelled by angel Josephine Skriver. The crystallised look for the 2016 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show includes over 4,50,000 crystals and consists of crystal baguettes, beads, chatons, fancy stones, pendants and sew-ons.

The sleeves themselves include 3,000 sparkling crystal strands, each taking an average of 12 minutes to thread and weigh approximately eight to ten pounds. The boots accompanying the look are designed by the master of the high- glamour vertiginous heel, Brian Atwood, adding 1,630 crystals to the ensemble. When asked about the Swarovski look, the Danish-born, 23-year-old model replied, “I am just going to wear this 24/7 in Paris.” Can’t blame her, can you?.
