NEW YORK: The auction house Christie's said a record 22 million people watched the end of the sale of American artist Beeple's digital collage, which went for a mammoth $69.3 million.

The auctioning of 'Everydays: The First 5,000 Days' was the first time a major house offered a "non-fungible token" - or collectible digital asset - part of an exploding virtual arm of the art world.
