A peek inside Anjali Mody's three-day Goan wedding extravaganza

It’s a wrap on Anjali Mody’s Goa wedding. Over the weekend, Anjali, daughter of corporate lawyer Zia Mody and industrialist Jaydev Mody, tied the knot with Akshay Tandon.

The three-day wedding was hosted in part at the bride’s family home in Goa and, in part at a resort owned by the Modys, over November 18-20. The celebrations were kicked off earlier this month, with Rakesh Jhunjhunwala and wife Rekha hosting a party for the couple at a five-star hotel in south Mumbai.

Anjali hasn’t followed in the footsteps of her famous mother, favouring the entrepreneurial gene of her father instead. She has chosen the creative pursuit of furniture designing and has founded Josmo Studio.

Her groom shares her creative interests. Tandon, 30, is the founder partner of Skarma, a communications firm. In fact, in her bio on Instagram, Anjali even writes ‘partner in crime at @skarmaonline’. From partners in their professional journey to partners in life, exciting times are in store for the young couple.
