A new Lenovo Vibe X2 in the works

Just a few days ago, Lenovo had launched Vibe X2 in India. The layered phone is getting a lot of attention because of its layered design and its price (Rs 20,000).

Now, the news is that a slimmer and bigger version of the Vibe X2 might be in the works. Well, against the current version of the Vibe X2, which sports a 5-inch screen; the new version in the works will have a 5.3-inch screen and would also be 0.5 mm thinner. This information is based on the listing spotted on Tenna (which is a Chinese smartphone certification website,) the new version of the Lenovo Vibe X2 bears the code name Lenovo X2Pt5.

The listing also goes on to state that internally it will have the same octa-core MediaTek processor like the original Vibe X2, but it will be clocked at 1.5 GHz and not 2 GHz. The new version too runs on Android Kitkat.

Lenovo had claimed that its Vibe X2 is an all rounder; and the new version too will follow the same philosophy. It will offer 13MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via micro SD card.
