A milestone for 'Bala': Ayushmann Khurrana-starrer enters Rs 100-cr club

MUMBAI: 'Bala', directed by Amar Kaushik, has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark at the domestic box office, the makers announced on Saturday.
The film, starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Bhumi Pednekar and Yami Gautam, crossed the mark within the third week of its release in the country.
'Bala' released on November 7.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the box-office numbers of the film on Twitter.
Production banner Maddock Films, helmed by Dinesh Vijan, also thanked fans for the love, saying, "... The feeling is inexplicable. Thank you for all the love you've given #Bala!"
Actress Yami Gautam also expressed her excitement in a video on Twitter, thanking the makers of the film and her fans. The 30-year-old said it was gratifying as an actor to receive all the love.
Khuranna said this was an occasion to celebrate with the team of 'Bala'; Bhumi Pednekar shared his sentiments.
Starring Ayushmann in the title role, 'Bala' revolves around a young man with a receding hairline.
