Holland were still celebrating their first goal when Cahill received a floating cross from Ryan McGowan. Watching the ball pass over his right shoulder as it descended, Cahill let fly a booming shot to equalise and stun the world.

Marco Van Basten

The great Holland striker dominated the 1988 Euro Cup. In the final against Russia, he left his glorious imprint on the tournament by squeezing in a right-footed volley from a tight angle.

In the 2002 Champions League final against Leverkusen, the Real Madrid playmaker received a looping cross from the left from Roberto Carlos. Zidane did not bother trapping it. Instead he wheeled his left foot to score one of the great goals in Champions League history.
