A Hindu-Christian wedding for Dinesh Karthik and Dipika Pallikal

The wedding dates have been finalised and the wedding preparations are currently on at squash ace Dipika Pallikal and cricketer Dinesh Karthik's homes. We hear that the couple will have a traditional Christian wedding as well as a Hindu-style wedding at a star hotel in Chennai.

Talking about the wedding, Dipika's dad, Sanjiv Pallikal says, "The Christian wedding will be held on August 18 and the Hindu wedding, in Telugu Naidu style, will take place on August 20. Both the wedding ceremonies will be held in Chennai. They are going to be private affairs. Dinesh's parents and our family are currently discussing the other pre-wedding ceremonies."

We hear that Dipika will be wearing a traditional white gown for the Christian wedding and a traditional 'yellow sari' for the Hindu wedding. Dipika will also have a mehendi function for her friends before the wedding.
