On April 19, the pair shared a joint post on Instagram, announcing that they are expecting their second bundle of joy. Deepika and Ranveer are already proud parents to daughter Dua, whom they welcomed on September 8, 2024. Now, as the duo is ready to start another chapter in their lives, let us rewind the clock and look back at a time when Deepika opened up about wanting 3 kids with her husband.

Back in 2013, Deepika Padukone appeared on a roundtable conference with Rajeev Masand, where she talked about her motherhood plan. During the conversation, the actress revealed that she had no idea what she would be doing if not working in movies. But Deepika was certain that she wanted to have kids.
