A guided tour: Inside Homi Bhabha's residence

As the name plate outside 12 Little Gibbs Road, Malabar Hill — inscribed JJ Bhabha and BI Bhabha — makes way for its new owners, there are some irreplaceable architectural details that the winning occupants can look forward to.

The terrace of the three-storied Meherangir has an unbroken view of the Arabian Sea and a verdant spread of the Hanging Gardens.



The insides, though bereft of the art which in auction fetched Rs 27 crore, continue to hold memories of the genius who once inhabited it.
