Define your style

I like well-fitted basic shirts. However, I include some detailing on the collar or cuff. I team this with a pair of cufflinks. For formal occasions, I add a great tie with a good watch. I love pens and the one I always carry with me was gifted by my father.

Wardrobe must-haves

A white shirt. This one is self-explanatory. A good pair of cufflinks — I have one that has been passed down for generations so they’re priceless. A pair of dress shoes, customised. A good watch — I love the heritage and tradition behind Swiss watchmaking. And of course, a well-fitted blazer.

Weekend getaway must haves

My Canon DSLR camera, a great book, Ray-Ban wayfarers, sneakers or Havaianas, and of course, iPhone for Instagram moments.

Prized possessions

I hold dear a Cartier pen gifted by my dad when I graduated from LSE. I also have a Mont Blanc Starwalker pen that was gifted to me by my wife at the opening of Cocoon Fine Rugs. These are priceless for me.

The little things

A well-groomed man says a lot about himself; therefore, a great haircut and hairstyle could make or break one’s look.

Trend talk

I love how retro seems to be making a comeback. However, the one trend I cannot stand is skinny jeans — they look really uncomfortable.

Colour code

The best way to add a dash of colour to your wardrobe is with coloured shirts and T-shirts. I would say an orange shirt with khakis looks great. If you can carry it off, I also recommend different coloured pants — just make sure you pair it with the right shirt.
