A classic navy suit can never go wrong: Priya Sachdev Kapur's style advice for men

Monogrammed cufflinks and embossed card holders are a must for men, says Priya Sachdev Kapur, CEO of Rock N Shop.

Sachdev-Kapur further suggested a tip to be comfortable and stylish from 9 AM to 9 PM, "a tweed or Herringbone jacket with blue chinos with navy blue or chocolate brown suede shoes".

“A classic leather wallet or a monogrammed leather card-holder with your initials. A Rolex , a white shirt with a classic navy blue blazer and suede or leather Oxford shoes.”


To clinch a deal
“Always wear your best suit and a smile. A classic navy never goes wrong. Don’t forget your leather business card holder with embossed initials. It always leaves a good impression.”

To a boardroom meeting
“A classic grey or royal-blue suit, a pocket handkerchief, a stripe tie and derby leather shoes in dark brown.”

For a casual day
“A pair of jeans with a tweed jacket or khaki green cords with a denim jacket and sneakers.”


Wedding style
“Stick to a black tie attire or tuxedo depending whose wedding it is. If it’s your best friends’s wedding reception, you can’t go wrong with a tuxedo.”

For an awards evening
“If you are going as a winner, you must stand out. A slim fit beige herring bone suit or a doublebreasted suit in royal blue with a thin knitted tie looks great. You can also choose a slim fit check suit in a light wool fabric with a white Oxford shirt and classic leather grained Derby shoes. Accessorise with a polka dot handkerchief or tie, your favourite watch and monogrammed cufflinks.”
