As long as you’re presentable, you’re good to go. I like to wear them all — dresses, trousers, skirts and shirts — as long as they fall in the ‘formal’ realm. Topping whatever you’re wearing with a jacket gives you an edge, especially for meetings. Comfortable heels are also recommended.

I would describe my sense of style as sharp and smart, but not flashy. Understated elegance is key. I am a litigating lawyer, so a white shirt and black suit are a must in court.

Otherwise, I stick to muted shades like blue, grey and browns. Multicoloured ties and flashy colours are a no-no.
