It’s not every day that you have a party with poodles and the latest iPhone as a return gift. But then the hostess of this party was not from just another rich family. Her last name spells wealth as well as clout. The bash was held one recent Saturday at the Turf Club in Mumbai. It was the birthday of a young girl rumoured to be close to one of the sons of the family. Guests included some who had missed an auspicious occasion celebrated by the family in Europe recently.
Gourmet refreshments aside, the venue had an enclosure where invitees could unwind by playing with pedigreed and furry fourleggers.
