A $ 1,20,000 per head secret luxury trip on the Four Seasons jet

Now that's what you call a flying visit. A motley group of 52 HNIs — successful businessmen, entrepreneurs and some retired executives — stopped by in Mumbai last week as part of their 24-day tour around the world in a custom-designed Boeing 757. At $ 1,20,000 per head, these 52 embarked on a luxury travel trip on the Four Seasons jet, staying in opulent hotels and savouring gourmet delicacies along the way.

Our curiosity over the lucky 52 was piqued , but Adarsh Jatia MD and CEO, Provenance Land, owners of Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai and Hyatt Regency Pune, says they are bound by a non-disclosure agreement to not shed light on their identities.

The jet took off from Los Angeles and proceeded to Hawaii, Bora Bora, Sydney, Bali and Chiang Mai before stopping in Mumbai for two days, then proceeding to Istanbul and London. The Mumbai stopover had the staples – Elephanta Caves, Indian cooking lessons, hot air balloon trips over Lonavla and a visit to Dharavi slums. It's a Jules Verne adventure al l right, but with liberal sprinkling of luxury.
