72 Hours OTT release date is here: Where and when to watch the Kevin Hart starrer action-comedy movie

Kevin Hart is back with another comedy, and this time he is heading straight to OTT. 72 Hours, directed by Tim Story, will skip a theatrical release and premiere exclusively on Netflix. The upcoming R-rated comedy has already started creating buzz online after the release of its trailer, with fans looking forward to Hart's latest comic adventure.

When and where to watch 72 Hours

72 Hours will start streaming on Netflix from July 24, 2026. The film will be available worldwide for Netflix subscribers.


The streaming platform announced the release by sharing the trailer on X. Along with it, Netflix wrote, "A hangover is the least of his problems. Kevin Hart crashes a bachelor party with Marcello Hernández, Mason Gooding, Kam Patterson, and Ben Marshall in a new R-rated comedy directed by Tim Story. 72 HOURS premieres July 24."

According to reports, the film will be available from 12:30 PM IST, which is 12:00 AM PT and 3:00 AM ET on July 24.

What is 72 Hours about?

The story follows Joe, played by Kevin Hart, a 40-year-old advertising executive whose career is going through a rough phase. His life takes an unexpected turn after he is mistakenly added to a group chat meant for a bachelor party planned by a group of men in their twenties.

Instead of telling them they have the wrong person, Joe decides to join their three-day trip to Miami, hoping it might help him escape his work troubles and maybe even improve his image. What begins as a fun getaway quickly turns into complete chaos.

The trip brings everything from run-ins with the police and drug-related trouble to a luxury yacht party and a party bus ride through South Beach that goes completely off track. At its core, the film explores the clash between generations while mixing friendship, awkward situations and over-the-top comedy.

Sharing the trailer on Instagram, Kevin Hart described his character and the film in his own words.

"We all know that one old guy that still thinks he has it. Nothing funnier than watching that guy try and keep up with the young guys. 72hrs is that plus more…. He gets invited to a bachelor party and decides to go and hang out. Shit gets real fast! Mark ya Calendars for July 24th on."

The cast also includes Marcello Hernández as Nick, Mason Gooding as Mason, Teyana Taylor as Jennifer, Michael Mando as Jaze, Ben Marshall as Hunter, Zach Cherry as Barry, Kam Patterson as Freshman, Mike Epps, Anna Garcia as Trixie, and Andy Garcia in a supporting role.
