5 months after divorce, Samantha Ruth Prabhu unfollows ex-hubby Naga Chaitanya on Instagram; shares cryptic post

It isn’t enough to part ways in real life, it has also become imperative now to part ways in our virtual sphere. Five months after their split, actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu did just that. After announcing the end of her four-year-long marriage with Naga Chaitanya last October, the actress has now unfollowed her ex-husband on Instagram.

The unfollowing came with a cryptic message on Instagram in which she wrote, "Sometimes, the strength within isn't a big fiery flame for all to see. Sometimes, it's just a tiny spark that whispers ever so softly ‘keep going, you got this." . The actress had previously deleted her pictures with Naga from her social media handles.

On October 2nd last year, the couple took to their social media handles to announce their divorce. The couple had issued an official statement together that read, 'After much deliberation and thought, Chay and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths. We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe will always hold a special bond between us. We request our fans, well-wishers, and the media to support us during this difficult time and give us the privacy we need to move on. Thanking you for your support.'


In an interview the actress had revealed that the divorce had taken a toll on her mental health. However, in December, when ETimes asked her about the separation, she said, “I think I am done speaking about it. It was important to speak about it and I have addressed it but I don't think it is necessary to keep on repeating that, again and again.”

Naga Chaitanya too addressed the spilt during 'Bangarraju' promotions. When asked about his personal life, the actor responded by saying, "My entire family stood by me during those difficult times. It was a decision taken in the best interests of the two of us. She's happy. I'm also happy. Both of us are doing well professionally too."
