Warne and Samuels had a clash - the former threw a ball at the Jamaican cricketer's midriff, which prompted him to throw his bat in Warne's direction - at the Big Bash Melbourne derby in 2013. Umpires intervened and Warne got a onematch ban.

The 17-year-old cold war between these two doesn't seem to be thawing anytime soon. From Test team axing to a captaincy debate, the Australian greats were embroiled in many controversies. Recently, Warne made a statement calling Waugh the "most selfish cricketer he has ever met".



Arjuna Ranatunga

So bad were things between Warne and Ranatunga that just before the 1999 World Cup, Warne told a newspaper, "There is plenty of animosity between Arjuna and myself. I don't like him and I'm not in a club of one." Warne was fined and was given a twomatch ban.

Around that time Hurley and Warne exchanged fiery tweets with the English rose tweeting, "Apologies to loyal followers for Twitter silence on recent events. Too raw & personal to share right now." Liz later tweeted, "No accounting for taste," when she heard about Warne's rumoured romance with Michelle Mone. Things seem to have become amicable between the two recently.
