3,000 OnePlus 2 invites up for grabs in India

NEW DELHI: Chinese smartphone brand OnePlus has announced that the company will give away 3,000 invites for its new flagship smartphone on September 22 and 23.

On its official forum, the company said that it will roll out OnePlus 2 invites to those who participate in its competition, which includes quizzes, puzzles, trivia etc. The competition starts at 12pm on September 22.

The company has said it will consider only one entry per person as part of the contest, where the winners will be given the invites on the first come, first serve basis. Though an individual can answer a quiz/puzzle only once, s/he can participate in as many contests as they want. However, they will still be eligible for only one invite even if they answer multiple questions correctly.

The ongoing contest is for Indian users only.

While 3,000 invites are up for grabs during this two-day period, OnePlus said "With the passage of time, we will roll out more number of invites."

This contest comes just a few days after OnePlus chairman Carl Pei announced that the company is considering hosting an open sale for OnePlus 2 for an hour in late September or early October in order to make up for smartphone’s supply shortage.
