Malayalam actors Beena Antony, Manoj, and Swasika are now facing an FIR after an artist from Aluva alleged that the three had “insulted the modesty of a woman” through a YouTube video. The plaintiff claimed that the trio sought to demean her on their YouTube channel as an act of retaliation for a previous complaint she had filed against several well-known actors. The charges brought against them are bailable.

After the release of the Hema Committee report, the actor had leveled accusations against actors Edavela Babu, Mukesh, Maniyanpilla Raju, Jayasurya, Jaffer Idukki, and actor-director Balachandra Menon. Following her complaint, the police had registered a case against these individuals. In response, Beena Antony, Manoj, and Swasika reportedly reacted to her accusations through various social media platforms, including YouTube.

In a separate development, a family member has filed a POCSO case against the complainant. Moreover, Balachandra Menon has filed his own police complaint, accusing the actor of attempting to extort him over the phone and defaming him on YouTube.
