2015's haute picks for best men's watches

A first look at the finalists for the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève awards

Preliminary votes are in and the field for the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève (considered the 'Oscars' of watchmaking) has narrowed to just six watches per category.

Among 12 categories, the total nominees included nearly 200 watches. While we have to wait until October for the winners to be announced, here is your first look at the men's finalists.

The men's category had the biggest starting field — an initial batch of 32. Yet from this group of six, there are no real losers. Judging here will be tight.
