Kanye West leads a life of luxury and the singer’s real estate portfolio screams the same. Not many are aware that the 49-year-old was once the proud owner of a sprawling and luxurious Wyoming ranch that the I Wonder hitmaker purchased in 2019 for a whopping price of $14.495 million. The estate, built in 1906 is called the Bighorn Mountain Ranch. According to reports, the Wyoming ranch was his second purchase in the state in the span of just 2 months. But he had to sell it back to its original owners in 2025.

Kanye West’s Wyoming ranch

According to Architectural Digest, the Bighorn Mountain Ranch is sprawled across 6,713 acres and is surrounded by pristine landscapes featuring canyons, bluffs, mountains, creeks, and game hunting grounds.

The estate boasts lavish cottages, cabins and lodges, including a 5-bedroom, 4-bathroom main log called The Lodge at Bald Ridge. It has a commercial kitchen, wraparound deck and fireplace. The view comprises a large pond and rugged canyon. The Snowshoe Lodge is another lodge which is encircled by more log cabins, offering walk-in saunas and a bar in the basement.

Salient features of the ranch and when was it sold

The Wyoming ranch also boasts plenty of wildlife, like 2000 elk who roam the ranch and the adjoining public lands. Meanwhile, the White Creek, running through the ranch, is perfect for small trout fishing. If that’s not enough, then you must be shocked to know that the estate also houses 2 heated helicopter pads, providing year-round access at the ranch.

But in September 2025, Kanye West had to sell the Bighorn Mountain Ranch to its original owners, Greg and Pam Flitner, reported Cowboy State Daily. The sale documents were notarised on September 17, as mentioned in the county records obtained by the outlet. Kanye had purchased the land from Greg’s father, David, and David's wife, Paula.
