In the wake of the ongoing IITF, Delhi metro's Pragati Maidan station registered 1.30 lakh footfalls, surpassing all the previous records.

NEW DELHI: In the wake of the ongoing India International Trade Fair ( IITF), Delhi metro's Pragati Maidan station registered 1.30 lakh footfalls today, surpassing all the previous records.

"On normal days, total entry and exit is about 32,000 per day at Pragati Maidan station," a DMRC spokesperson said.

"Pragati Maidan station broke its earlier highest ridership record set at 1.27 lakh on November 24 last year. Today, by 8 PM itself, the station has reached ridership of approx 1.30 lakh," he said.
