When Zapyle founder Rashi Menda just had to pay $150 for a $650 Burberry trench coat

Shopping for luxury products has its charm, and buying those products at throwaway prices even more so. For Zapyle founder Rashi Menda, who is married to RMZ family’s Sidharth Menda, two of her memorable luxe purchases were bought for a steal. Menda picked up a Burberry trench coat for $150 (original price $650) from a factory outlet in London in 2014. The other was a red Valentino dress for her MBA graduation in Economics from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, US in 2011 for around $60.

How did she manage to get the deal? They were preowned items. “I was clear I wanted designer wear for my graduation, but my budget wasn’t much. Then I chanced upon a website which offered pre- owned designer wear,” said Menda. That ’s a sweet deal.
