Jennifer Lopez has filed for divorce from Ben Affleck on what would have been their second wedding anniversary, August 20. And given that they didn’t have a prenup and will not be paying spousal support either, they will split all their shared assets, while retaining the properties and wealth they individually own. Here’s a quick look at what these entail:

The Joint Estate

A $68-million mansion the couple co-owns in Beverly Hills, California, has now been put up for sale. The estate, stretching across five acres, includes an infinity pool, a gym, a boxing ring and an indoor basketball ring. It also has state-of-the-art security and extensive gardens.
What he owns Affleck reportedly moved out of the Beverly Hills mansion in July this year and purchased another property in Los Angeles for $20 million. Several years prior to this, back in 2003, Affleck had reportedly purchased a 6,500-sq ft house in Georgia for $7 million.

Affleck also has an affinity for automobiles. He’s said to own over 10 cars, cumulatively worth $1.2 million. These include a Mercedez-Benz, an Audi, multiple Bentleys, a Range Rover and even a Tesla Model S.

What She Owns

Lopez is, by far, the richer celebrity. Compared to Affleck who’s worth about $150 million, Lopez is worth $400 million. In addition to her acting and singing career, both of which have proven to be very lucrative for the 55-year-old, and she also has a flourishing fragrance business empire. Last year, she started a cocktail brand.

Apart from the Beverly Hills property she co-owns with Affleck, Lopez also has a home in the Bel Air neighbourhood, which she purchased back in 2016 for $28 million, but could today be worth a lot more.

In addition, she also purchased a $2-million house in Long Island, New York, in 2008, and a $20-million penthouse in New York. And though she split from her former beau, the baseball star Alex Rodriguez, in 2021, they still co-own a house in San Francisco and another in Florida.

JLo owns cars worth an estimated $1.5 million. Her collection reportedly includes three Rolls-Royces, including the classic Rolls-Royce Phantom, as well as a Bentley, a Cadillac, and a Porsche 911, one of the fastest sports cars in the world.
