Lupin's Q2 profit declines 41% to Rs 268 crore

NEW DELHI: Lupin on Wednesday reported a 41.25 per cent year-on-year (YoY) fall in net profit at Rs 268.45 crore for the September quarter, which was largely in line with Rs 273 crore estimate projected by analysts in an ET Now poll.

The drug maker had reported Rs 456.87 crore profit in the year-ago quarter.

Revenues for the quarter rose to Rs 3,890.93 crore compared with Rs 3,874.16 crore in the year-ago quarter.


Ebitda for the quarter at Rs 550 crore was lower than ET Now poll estimate of Rs 3,605 crore.

Ebitda margin for the company compressed to 14.2 per cent in September quarter compared with 21.9 per cent in the year-ago quarter.
