NEW DELHI: BPO services provider vCustomer Corporation today said it will raise its India headcount by at least 35 per cent from the existing 3,500 staff by fiscal 2008.

The company, which plans to serve large corporates in India through its customer management solutions, would hire people for both its existing as well as newly set up centres.

vCustomer has added four new customers in the last three months and is now planning to ramp up operations by adding a new facility in Mumbai. The company currently has three centres in Delhi and one in Pune.

"We would leverage on the expertise that we have acquired from the US and UK markets to provide the best of breed services to domestic companies," vCustomer Corporation Founder & CEO Sanjay Kumar said.

To strengthen its presence in the Indian market, the company plans to offer multilingual customer care services in 15 local languages.

Also, to capitalise on the falling telecommunication costs it would offer customised Interactive Voice Response (IVR) services, aimed at providing better customer management services at lower costs.
