The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) in ministries of Commerce & Industry, Textiles, and Department of Training & Technical Education has notified to fill vacant positions of economic officer, director and lecturer. The last date to apply online is September 27.

QUALIFICATION
Economic officer: Master’s Degree in Economics or Commerce with two years experience of Economic Research/investigation.
Director: Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in the disciplines of Textile Technology/Textile Chemistry/Textile Processing/Textile Engineering with nine years of industry experience
Lecturer: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology in Architectural Assistantship

AGE LIMIT
Economic officer: 30 years
Director: 50 years
Lecturer: 35 years

PAY SCALE
Economic officer: Level-7 in the pay matrix as per 7th CPC
Director: Level-12 in the pay matrix as per 7th CPC
Lecturer: PB of Rs. 15,600-39,100/- with AGP of 5400/- for persons with B.E. /B.Tech. qualification. PB of Rs. 15600-39100/- with AGP of Rs. 6000/- for persons with M.Tech Qualification in appropriate branch/discipline

SELECTION PROCEDURE
Candidates will have have to undertake an interview.
