Uber gives highest salary at IIT Bombay final placements

IIT Bombay’s placement season started off with a good note on Day 1, and slot 1.1 witnessed the participation of 28 companies.

For Day1, high compensation-packages were offered for domestic roles by

Millennium (Rs 62 lakhs), WorldQuant (Rs 51.71 lakh) and


Blackstone (Rs 46.62 lakhs)

Among international offers, Uber paid $274000 while Rubrik paid $121000.

For domestic jobs, Google, Miscosoft, Qualcomm, Boston

Consulting Group, Airbus, Bain and company made the highest number of offers, while international offers were made by Uber and Rubrik.

So far 201 Pre-Placement Offers (PPO) have been accepted by students, which is higher than last year.

IT/Software, Core Engineering and Consulting were among the sectors hiring aggressively.
