Two ICICI group officials join foreign majors

Two senior-level officials have quit ICICI group entities in the recent past to join foreign financial services majors.


MUMBAI: Two senior-level officials have quit ICICI group entities in the recent past to join foreign financial services majors.

Arvind Sampath, who was Senior Vice-President at ICICI Securities Primary Dealership has joined Standard Chartered as Head of Fixed Income Trading, replacing Manoj Swain.

Another official, R S Krishnan, who was in the investment banking operations at ICICI Securities has joined French major BNP Paribas, as Head of Corporate Finance.

While Standard Chartered confirmed Sampath's joining, BNP Paribas said Krishnan would be joining it soon.

Earlier this month, ICICI Securities Primary Dealership's Chief Executive, Nitin Jain, had resigned and his post was taken over by B Prasanna.
