TISS Mumbai completes summer placements for HRM & LR batch

MUMBAI: Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai has completed summer placements for its two-year postgraduate program in human resource management and labour relations with an average stipend of Rs 82226 per month, compared to Rs 65,111 per month last year.

The median salary was Rs 75,000 per month compared to Rs 60,000 per month last year.

The highest stipend this year was Rs 1,50,000 per month from Reckitt Benckiser, up from Rs 1,20,000 from HUL last year.

Around 34 companies made offers to the 62-strong batch which included regular recruiters such as Asian Paints, HUL, ITC, Marico, Mondelez, Nestle TAS. Four recruiters -- Altisource, Atos, General Mills and Red Bull -- were first-timers on campus.

Companies like Godrej, PepsiCo, Pidilite, Reckitt Benckiser, Sun Pharmaceuticals, etc. were back on campus after a hiatus. ITC was the biggest recruiter, making six offers.

The maximum number of candidates from the batch will be interning in FMCG companies, followed by Conglomerate and Consulting.
