TCS to recruit 30,000 employees

TIRUPARANKUNRAM: Tata Consultancy Services would be recruiting 30,000 employees from all over India to further strengthen its work force which stands at 1.40 lakh, according to TCS Global Head (Small and Medium Services) Venguswamy Ramaswamy.

Participating at the Inaugural of "Techutsav 10",a national level technical symposium aimed at showcasing technical skills and creativity of students of Thiaraja Engineering College here, he said TCS had leveraged technology to a large extent and had created an option called "Just ask" in which questions posted would reach all employees.

"Technology is a great enabler to promote collaboration among inter-disciplinary students," he said.

Corporate houses need a lot of talent and creativity, which students possessed, he said and urged them to collborate with business houses while studying and come out with Business impact solutions.
