Students throng to Facebook's placement drive

BANGALORE: Facebook has acquired such an aura of cool and being hip that GenY doesn't mind waiting patiently in unusually long queues to land a job there.

Though Facebook made a small presence in last year's placement drives on a few campuses here, it's back in a big way now. The recruitment process for various jobs is under way at Mount Carmel College, Christ University and St Joseph's College.

December is the time when companies throng campuses for placements. Interestingly, the number of application forms for FB is more than that of other companies among youths, thanks to their 'personal attachment' with the company.
