Students of FMS get impressive offers for internship

NEW DELHI: Students at Delhi University's premier Faculty of Management Studies have got attractive summer placements with maximum stipend rising by a staggering 150 per cent compared to last year.

All the 235 students got summer placements and the highest stipend of Rs 2.5 lakh was offered by an investment bank.

"The average stipend offered for the internship period rose to an all time high of Rs 85,000. The highest domestic stipend rose by 150 per cent to Rs 2.5 lakh," said an FMS official.

The highest number of offers on campus was made by Citibank followed closely by Accenture Business Consulting, Tata Administrative Service, Hindustan Unilever and Mahindra and Mahindra.

The summer placement is for internship period only.
