Silverline acquires Canadian firm
Recruiting and staffing company Silverline Technologies said it has acquired Canada- based OMDR Inc for an undisclosed amount.

MUMBAI: Recruiting and staffing company Silverline Technologies on Monday said it has acquired Canada- based OMDR Inc, which is a global provider of outsourced call centre services for an undisclosed amount.
OMDR, formerly known as Omega Direct Responses, specialises in inbound, outbound and multilingual customer service.
"Global Customer Interaction is rapidly evolving into a mainstream activity within industries providing not only for customer acquisition but also customer service and retention," said Silverline Technologies' Chairman Ravi Subramanian in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The buyout puts Silverline to be a contender in the service management space and well positions itself to realise its goals of becoming a leading player of technology-enabled service management solutions, globally, he added.
Shares of the company closed at Rs 139.15, up 6.79 per cent at the BSE.
