Capital markets regulator Sebi has invited bids from independent agencies to provide outsourced staff for its local office at Kochi.

NEW DELHI: Capital markets regulator Sebi has invited bids from independent agencies to provide outsourced staff for its local office at Kochi.

The agency would be responsible for overall maintenance of the office premises and providing the services of outsourced staff such as receptionist cum data entry operator, office assistant, housekeeping staff and security guards.

The agency having provided similar outsourced staff to corporate offices preferably for PSUs, financial institutions, autonomous bodies during the last five years can submit its bids.

Among other requirements, the agency needs to have licence for supply of security guards to office premises and have at least five years of experience in providing such services. It should have operations in Kochi.

It needs to have a minimum average annual turnover of Rs 10 lakh during last three years and should not have incurred any losses in more than two years during the past five years.

In a public announcement, Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) has invited "applications from reputed agencies for providing outsourced staff such as receptionist cum data entry operator and office assistant/housekeeping for Sebi local office at Kochi."

The interested agencies can send their applications within 15 days.
