Punjab to fill 2,251 senior posts in power, transmission firms
As many as 293 new posts would be created and 1,958 posts, abolished earlier, would be revived, an official release said.

CHANDIGARH: Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today gave a nod to fill 2,251 senior posts lying vacant in Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) and Punjab State Transmission Corporation Limited (PSTCL).
As many as 293 new posts would be created and 1,958 posts, abolished earlier, would be revived, an official release said.
The recruitment would be carried out in various categories including Assistant Engineers (electrical and civil), Junior Engineers (civil), Account officers, Law officers, Revenue Division Accountant, Assistant Manager (HR) and IT and Safety Officer.
