Over 7,000 applicants register on Day 1 of Infopark job fair

KOCHI: The two-day job fair hosted by Infopark turned out to be a huge success on its first day with more than 7,000 applicants getting registered during the day.

As many as 13 companies are participating in the job fair, offering the candidates a wide spectrum of employment opportunities, an official release said.

The recruitment drive is to fill up nearly 2,000 vacancies.

Apart from the 7,000-plus online registrations, the fair also got more than 500 walk-in candidates. Most of them were in the age group of 20-35 years.

The job fair, being held on the occasion of Infopark's 10th anniversary celebrations, has already become a massive hit with job seekers.

The fair has two separate registration venues for fresh and experienced candidates.
