The brief I was given and what I did in the first 100 days at work

My first job was with Holtec Consulting in their corporate division. The first quarter was spent mainly in understanding the business dynamics and interacting with key stakeholders across functions.

The biggest innovation I did

I realised that a lot of manual intervention was affecting productivity. Therefore, I took the lead in initiating automation of the CAMA model (Competitive Advantage & Marketing Analytics). This was a breakthrough that led to improved productivity.

The best leadership lesson I learnt

I learnt the importance of communication, not just with colleagues and peers, but across the hierarchy. Developing a connect across levels is a skill every leader must possess.

The worst mistake I made

I realised that the chemical industry is not my forte, and moved to the organisation’s general management functions.

The best friend I made on the job
