Lady Shri Ram College for Women student bags placement officer of Rs 29 lakh per annum

NEW DELHI: Delhi University's Lady Shri Ram College for Women (LSR) has registered a record placement this year, with a BCom student bagging the highest officer of Rs 29 lakh per annum.

Last year, the highest package offered was Rs 18 lakh.

"Rhea Grover has been hired by Parthenon-EY a strategy consultancy at a package of Rs 29 lakh which is this year's highest," a senior college official said.

The average compensation amount is also high this year at Rs 7 lakh with 94 students being placed so far.

A few start-ups like Grofers, Singapore Angel Network and Nearby by Groupon too participated in this year's placement.
