BANGALORE: Around 348 companies visited the Indian School of Busines for their final placements of 2012. A total of 631 offers were given to 528 students. Consulting firms like AT Kearney, Accenture, Booz & Co, Deloitte, Diamond Consulting, Gallup Pte Ltd, KPMG, McKinsey & Co, Parthenon Group represented the leading sectors rolling out 30% of the offers.

While e-commerce, pharma and biotech firms remain key attractions, international placements saw a spike with 92 offers being made for posts across 11 countries compared to 83 last year.

Around 87 offers were made by 27 companies for leadership programs in firms like Bharti Airtel, Citibank, DuPont, GE, HCL Technologies.

About 5% of the class is still to be placed as the institute follows the rolling placement format where those up for lateral hiring will be given time to select their firms over a stretched period of time. 46 students opted out of the placement process as well to join family businesses.
