Infosys reprimands senior executive for gender insensitivity

BENGALURU: Infosys said its board has “reprimanded” a senior executive for what it called “gender insensitivity”, after a group of women working in his office complained against him.

The executive, whom it didn’t name, has appealed against the company's decision, the software exporter said. Infosys said since the executive held an important rank at the company, it brought in an external investigator to help set up an internal committee and oversee a “fair and proper” investigation.
