Indian Navy invites applications under Cadet Entry Scheme; Last date June 21
Candidates can apply online by registering themselves for the opening at the India Navy's official recruitment website.

Who can apply?
Candidates who have appeared for 2018 JEE main exams for B.E. or B.Tech may submit applications. Selected candidates would get calls from the Service Selection Board (SSB) on the basis of JEE 2018 results.
Age limit: As specified by the Navy for applications for vacant posts. Usually the age bracket is 19 to 21 years. As per the Navy's official portal, candidates should be born between July 2, 1999 and Jan 1, 2002.
Eligibility criteria
Height: Candidates should have a minimum height of 157 cms with correlated weight as per age. However, relaxations in height is permissible to candidates from Ladakh, Andaman & Nicobar islands, Lakshwadeep islands, Minicoy islands, Uttarakhand and North East regions.
Eyesight: Candidates should not be colourblind and the minimum acceptable vision standards for distant vision is 6/6, 6/9 correctable to 6/6, 6/6 with glasses.

A simplified application procedure using updated Aadhaar cards may also be used. For this, it is important that candidates have their mobile numbers and address linked with the Aadhaar number.
