Indian army recruitment 2018: Multiple positions notified; August 9 is last date to apply

Indian Army has invited applications from interested candidates to fill multiple positions of soldiers. The Army will be conducting recruitment rallies for eligible candidates of Rajasthan's districts of Bikaner, Hanumangarh and Sri Ganganagar from August 24 to September 2. Candidates who are aged between 17-23 years can apply online latest by August 9.

POSITION AND EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
Soldier (general duty): Class with 45% marks
Soldier technical: 10+2 in Science

Soldier Technical (Aviation/Ammunition Examiner):10+2 in Science or three years diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/Automobiles/ Computer Science and Electronic and Instrumentation Engineering.
Soldier Nursing Assistant/Nursing Assistant veterinary: 10+2 in Science or Bsc degree (Botany/Zoology/ Bio-Science)
Soldier Clerk /Store Keeper Technical/Inventory Management: 10+2 or graduate
Soldier Tradesman: 10th/ITI

AGE LIMIT
The age limit for soldiers (general duty) is 17 1/2 years to 21 years. For others, age should be between 17 to 23 years.

SELECTION PROCEDURE
The candidate would have to undergo written examination, physical measurement and a medical examination.
