Indian Army recruiting for multiple posts; July 16 last date to apply

Indian Army has invited applications from interested candidates to fill multiple positions of soldiers. The Army will be conducting recruitment rallies for eligible candidates of Punjab districts of Fatehgarh Sahib, Barnala, Mansa, Sangrur and Patiala from August 1 to 13. Candidates who are aged between 17-23 years and have passed Class 10 and Class 12 can apply. The last date to apply is July 16.

POSITION AND EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
Soldier (general duty): SSLC/Matric with 45% marks
Soldier technical: 10+2 in Science
Soldier Technical (Aviation/Ammunition Examiner):10+2 in Science or three years diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/Automobiles/ Computer Science and Electronic and Instrumentation Engineering.

Soldier Nursing Assistant: 10+2 in Science or Bsc degree (Botany/Zoology/ Bio-Science)
Soldier Clerk /Store Keeper Technical/Inventory Management: 10+2 or graduate
Soldier Tradesman: 10th/ITI

AGE LIMIT
The age limit for soldiers is 17 1/2 years to 21 years. For soldier clerk position age should be between 17 to 23 years.

SELECTION PROCEDURE
The candidate would have to undergo written examination, physical measurement and a medical examination.
