Indian Air Force to conduct recruitment rally in Chhattisgarh. Here's all you need to know

The Indian Air Force has sought eligible candidates for multiple vacancies under the airman post within the IAF.

The IAF informed about the vacanies through a post on Twitter that said: "Recruitment rally is scheduled to be conducted at Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Auditorium, Science College, near NIT College, Raipur, Chhattisgarh."

Giving further details, the post said that selection would take place for candidates to be inducted as Airmen in Group Y (non-technical) department. The selected candidates will subsequently join the IAF (Security) Trade. The recruitment rally will begin from August 31 and will continue till September 5.


Interested candidates need to report at the said venue latest by 10:00 am at DDU stadium in Raipur.


Age limit: 16 to 20 years

Education qualification
Interested candidates will be required have a Class XII degree with an aggregate score of 50%. A 50% score in English is also mandatory for those interested in the vacant posts.

Districts to be covered on September 3 and 4: Baloda Bazar, Balrampur, Bemetara, Bilaspur, Janjgir Champa, Jaspur, Kawardha (Kabirdham), Korba, Koriya, Mungeli, Raipur, Sarguja and Surajpur districts of State of Chattisgarh
