Indian Air Force recruitment: Applications open for Commissioned Officers, last date July 15

The Indian Air Force (IAF) is looking for eligible candidates who can join the team as commissioned officers. For this, the candidates will have to sign up for the courses mentioned in the original notification link.

IAF is offering two types of engagements- Short Service Commission (SSC) and Permanent Commission (PC). The Flying Branch is offering SSC positions, while the Ground Duty Branch is offering SSC and PC positions in technical and non-technical fields.

Age limit
For Flying branch: 20-24 years

For Ground Duty: 20-26 years

How to apply?
Eligible candidates need to register online through separate tabs available for AFCAT Entry/NCC Special Entry/MET Entry.Candidates eligible for one or more entries will have to register separately in each entry.


Online test for AFCAT and fee structure
Candidates need to appear for an online test that will be conducted for AFCAT entry at various centres. Registration for AFCAT exams will entail charge of Rs 250. However, those registering for Meteorology entry and NCC Special entry are not required to pay.
