IIT Roorkee sees close to 16% jump in total offers in first three days of placements

KOLKATA: IIT Roorkee has registered a 15.9% jump in total number of offers in the first three days of placements. The institute had 569 offers in the first three days, compared to 491 offers in the corresponding period last year.

A total of 94 companies visited the campus in the first three days. Recruiters included Deloitte, Futures First, MagicPin, Mfine, Quantile, Samsung Noida, Swiggy, Veritas, Zomato, among others.

OYO Rooms offered the maximum number of offers at 22.


The institute bagged 12 international offers with postings in USA, Japan and Singapore. Microsoft, Uber, Squarepoint Capital and Mercari are among those that have made offers.
